My memories of Jurong Bird Park was rather vague since my last visit was when I was still a kid in primary school. This visit on the 2nd day of Chinese Year dated 24/01/2012, I had returned as a dad with my three kiddos. I had insisted Gong Gong to tag along even I had to carry him cos some fresh air outdoor would aid speedy recovery and good for the overall mental well-being. Wenz and Denz' interests were mainly in the Kidz Land instead of the birds. Sigh.... However to my surprise, BBC appreciate the sight of birds and had pointed utterly to them. On the contrary, Wenz loves watching Barbie Swan Princess so much on dvd but seems to ignore the presence of a real live swan. As for me, I sure like the serenity and seeing those lovely birds in their nicely setup enclosure. Great to be back again.

Gong Xi Gong Xi 2012

The year of the majestic dragon has come! Warm wishes from the '白' family, wishing you a prosperous year, like a dragon soaring in the heavenly sky. Papa took charge of spring cleaning this year and had even given a touch of gold to our unit number. Huat Ah! As usually mummy is the creative interior decorator. This year the kiddos are dressed in Korean costume on the first day of CNY and like previous CNY, we would stay put at Ye Ye's house. Chief cook this CNY is undisputedly Nai Nai, who served us vegetarian Mee Siam. Thumbs up to having mercy on a grand day like this. BBC had picked up bowing and putting his hands together to do Gong Xi Gong Xi. Wenz and Denz was so eager to send their well wishes that they did it when papa just came out from the shower in his towel. Lol...

Gong Gong Had A Fall

Not a very good start to year 2012 for our family as Gong Gong had a fall while on his way home and had fractured his left ankle. Supposedly leaving for Vietnam to attend a friend's wedding, he had to be replaced by Ah Ma. Gong Gong is now cast and nursing at our place and without Ah Ma for almost a week. Papa and mommy are under emergency preparedness. Both of them had taken leave from work, which means we get to see more of them @ home and especially papa bringing us to lesson and fetching us from school. Ye Ye and Nia Nia had also came over more frequently. We really felt the impact without Gong Gong and Ah Ma's help. What a reminder of our parent's importance! Unlike his usual self, papa had gotten up from bed early to get breakfast, wiped dry the toilet so its safer and chat unusually long with Gong Gong to keep him company. Get well soon Gong Gong and we missed you Ah Ma ; (

Wenz' First Day @ Primary One

Anxious parents waiting to see their children during recess time

Wenz told us she was excited to go to primary school but at the same time afraid of having many homework.... Lol... As anxious (But not Kiasu) parents ourselves, wifee and I accompanied Wenz to school on her first day of school. The feeling was heavy like as though like sending our kid away for a long holiday. Fortunately, our gal has got Cassandra, a classmate from PCF, in the same class with her in primary school. When Cassandra saw Wenz, she said "I thought coloured hairband and trolley bag is not allowed". Wifee and I were speechless for a moment .... Hee! Hee! Well, like mother like daughter.... Wifee was a school rules breaker in the past.

We had returned to Wenz' school again during recess time but could only observed from a distance. She was accompanied by her assigned school buddy who's one year her senior. As usually, forgetful Wenz didn't bring her lunchbox to the canteen but thankfully she had utilised her $1/- school allowance on a bottle of Yakult and a packet of 'Wawa' rice crackers.

During school dismissal, Wenz' teacher had brought her to the wrong exit but no fear, papa had ran between both gates just to make sure everything turned out right...

Live Shows @ Shopping Malls

Our kiddos are very much entertained during school holiday with live shows at various shopping centre like Doraemo, Barbie, Chuggington, Mr Moon and many others... I guess these are the kind of childhood experience kids nowadays have. Some of the shows required queuing up to an hour for photo-pass while others have different terms and conditions. That's what most parents would do and believed it's worth doing so to bring smiles and laughers to their kiddos.

It's Christmas but didi insisted to wear his Chinese suit. Lol...

Cheers! With the party continues whereby this time is more for the adults. The party was a shared contribution from nai nai preparing the vegetarian spaghetti, gugu sponsoring turkey/ham & beers/cocktail and we brought along the Christmas logcake to ye ye's house. Godpa is like part of the family so he's here this year as usual. Some beers and cocktail to go with my Christmas dinner but not for ye ye aka Chang De. Hee! Hee! I especially like the Hazenut logcake which mummy couldn't have enough of it. Wenz and Denz just couldn't wait to unwrap their presents. Ho! Ho! Ho!

Children Christmas Party 2011

Daddy had set up the Christmas Tree and mummy had wrapped up all the presents. Our house had been nicely decorated with Christmas theme and all the yummy treats, especially the vegetarian Nasi Briyani (Today's special prepared by Ah Ma & Gong Gong) are ready. Soon, Wenz and her PCF school mates will embark on a new education journey to primary one so let's party now before all those new challenges come. Irene and I would also like to show our appreciations to the parents of our little guests for all the support and sharing of information throughout Wenz' PCF education.

Snowing Fun

It's has been quite a norm for us to bring the kiddos to have some foamy fun when Christmas drawn near. We had returned to Tanglin Mall again and this time much experienced to deal the aftermath. After playing, the kiddos settled down with spaghetti for dinner and ice-cream treat. We also bought a 3-foot tall snowman before leaving the mall. Ho! Ho! Ho!

Whole Kampong to Batam

BBC can now proclaimed himself as Prince of Batam with his first two overseas trips to the same island. Well, he's safe under the royal escort of our whole kampong. Hee! Hee! We usually stay @ Harris WaterFront Resort so this time round, we made a change by trying out the newly opened Harris hotel, conveniently located beside Batam Centre, ferry terminal. We practically spent the three days there eating and shopping (Not forgetting swimming). Batam Mega Mall is just diagonally across the street from our hotel and there's something there for everyone. The kiddos also enjoyed themselves a lot taking the long duration kiddy rides. For wifee and I, it's definitely the waffle and Rootbeer float at A&W. The meals we had @ the restaurants inside the mall are reasonably priced with our stomachs filled up most of the time.

Jack and the Beanstalk

Another musical play to fill in the kiddos' school holiday. We couldn't get the first few rows this time so it was a different experience watching from the second storey. The play narrated the story in a positive manner as in, Jack Little, dreamed big but at the same time, his mother was there to make sure that his mind is not always drifting in the clouds. Apart from that, I like the alternate ending to the story whereby Jack changed the mindset of the giant, befriended him and together all the characters in the story managed to fulfill their dreams in the end. Amazingly, Wenz could tell me that there are many ways a story can end. So I guess she is now more flexible in her thinking...

The Elves & The ShoeMaker

I had stepped into the new National Library for the first time with wifee and kiddos to watch 'Elves & The Shoemaker'. The musical play was more than what I expected it to be. In fact, the play takes us to a new journey incorporating characters from other fairy tales, indeed a magical one with a message that we mustn't stop believing in magic. I loved the enchanting melody , the catchy puppets/props and certainly good acting. Splendid performance which audiences, young and old had given their loud applauds.

Drama Prince Denzel

I have not seen Denz performed like this @ home and it came rather stunning to me to see him so eloquent and even taking the lead in speech and drama at Tien Hsia Mandarin enrichment class. It's really quite comforting and I must say I'm impressed with how the enrichment programme had unleashed my child potential. Good job done Denz!

Wenz' K2 Graduation

Without realizing how time flies, our princess had already graduated from K2. Another milestone to Wenz' education and hopefully a greater success to her future endeavour. It's a special day for Wenz and the whole family was there to give her our support. Apart from just receiving the scroll from Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, our MP and current Minister for the Environment and Water Resources. Wenz had returned on stage for a dance performance. Even Ye Ye commented that he didn't know Wenz could dance soo... well. Then again Rome wasn't built overnight, this couldn't be achieved if not for months of dance practices and rehearsal, which required time and commitment from both child and parents. The graduation ceremony was presented like a musical and I would say it was a success all thanx to the efforts put in by teachers and students of PCF Cashew.

Halloween Special: Little Devil

Halloween is not widely celebrated in Singapore beside another reason for party goers to go wild. Over the years, we have welcomed the western influence, gotten yourself exposed to this festival and surely the merchandises as well. Mommy had bought Red Devil hats for the kiddos just for some fun so little adorable BBC fits the bill. BBC can now walk on his own and has been going around the house exploring, giving all of us some hard times. Our little devil has also became expressive towards on his likes & dislike. He would try to touch any things that interests him and when we say "NO"to him, he would just smile and then try to test his boundary. BBC appreciate music and could now hum the tune of "twinkle twinkle little stars" little by little.

Family Photo Session

This post was really long overdue as October is a busy month for me.

It has been a long time since our last photo shoot at the studio. Erm...okay, maybe I have exaggerated. It wasn't ages ago actually. Our last photo shoot was Maternity Photo Session last year with Dream Garden Studio to capture the journey of my last preggie look b4 closing production :D

A photo shoot including the grandparents is something I hope to do in my mind. I looked thru SMH forum and shortlisted a few but decided on Foto-U Studio by Benjamin Loo. Besides capturing important milestone of the kids growing up, photo-taking at the studio is another great way for family bonding.

The whole session took more than an hour to complete and consisted ~180 shots in total. We enjoyed the photo shoot though the kids were tired after that. There were too many things to take note if you are lugging 3 kids along, so much so till I had forgotten to pack into my bag one of the kiddos' tee after the session.

Luckily Benjamin found the tee and mailed it back to me. I'd say Benjamin is professional in his work. He was prompt in his reply, provided whatever instructions needed to get ready prior to the actual day shoot and he gave sound advice on which photo to choose for print out. Thumbs up for his great service.

PCF Cashew Children's Day 2011

Wenz kept reminding us about the Children's Day Carnival organised by her school ever since her teacher passed her the ticket. Instead of the conventional ways of celebrating in school, the children from PCF Cashew get to enjoy wet fun at Bukit Panjang swimming pool, get goodie bags and play at kiosks set up by their teachers and parent volunteers at the Community Centre co-located with the swimming pool.

Go Fly Kite!

Wenz' had just learned about kite @ school and she even made a kite with paper @ home which obviously couldn't fly. Seeing her enthusiasm urged me a get a proper kite and showing the kiddos how kite actually fly. Personally, I had never successfully flown a kite so this time is no exception. I think this kite is by far the best I bought and I believed the day wasn't windy enough (excuse). It should be quite an achievement for the kiddos to see the kite took flight while they were running with it.

In view of this, celebrating Ye Ye's birthday with vegetarian dinner banquet would be most appropriate. Wifee had come out with idea of making a banner with the kiddos' hand prints as present and our three precious all contributed in the art-piece. We were glad that Ye Ye liked the arrangement that his birthday was celebrated with nice ambient inside the private room of Lotus Restaurant with sumptuous meal.

We were back at Tom's Palatte again but this time, it's more than just ice-cream eating. We were there to learn how to make yummy tasty ice-cream. The recipes were for 'Mango Cheesecake' and 'Nutella' flavored ice-cream. We had fun, hands on and even taxing on the mixture before our ice-creams were even ready to be served. Shame on us! Lol... During the intervals, we were also invited to ice-cream buffet so sweet-tooths like us were in seventh heaven. Well, after trying almost all the flavor from the freezer, my favorite ice-cream flavor at Tom's Palette is still 'Apple Pie'.

Coaching Wenz Swim

Swimming is an essential survival skill so it's important to me that my children know how to swim. I don't expect them to be medalists but at least be able to trap water and stay afloat in time of emergences. I love swimming and now takes a passionate role in coaching to Wenz in swim. Based on my dad's "reliable" intel that the ongoing Lantern fair at Chinese Garden was free admission. All of us headed there only to find out that adult admission was 12 bucks and child 8 bucks. It was quite to turned off as paying over 50 bucks for the whole family to enter and they think it was not really worth paying. Nevertheless, our Mid-Autumn spirits weren't dampen as my always resourceful dad had brought along lanterns, sparklers, candles and lighters for some mischief. Lol... So what we did was to camp at the grass verge outside Chinese Garden and went on a rampant! Not very often the kiddos get to play with fire. As for dad & I, we played the candles just like we were kids. Well, we are nice kids who make sure we don't dirty the area.

Terracotta Warriors @ ACM

Dad was keened to view the Terracotta Warriors back from the Qing Dynasty so we had organized another family trip to Asian Civilization Museum after our last visit for Kangxi Emperor exhibition. Terracotta Warriors exhibit ain't so much for the kiddos but they were delighted as long as they got to go out. Dad could concentrate on viewing the exhibit while we entertained the kiddos with the interactive IPhone app on Terracotta Warriors (The world’s first iPhone app for a museum that combines Augmented Reality, mini-games and interactive features to enjoy this exciting gallery trail). At the end of the trip, dad even commented he didn't have to travel all the way to China, Xi'an Shaanxi to just see Terracotta Warriors.

The terracotta army buried near the tomb of the First Emperor of China, Shi Huangdi (259 - 210 BCE), is perhaps the most important archaeological discovery of our time. Unearthed in 1974 outside Xi’an, the thousands of pottery soldiers and horses are striking works of art that tell us a great deal about early China.For the first time in Singapore, see the genuine terracotta warriors from the First Emperor’s tomb. Look out for 100 artefacts from Shaanxi, China, including beautiful jade, bronze and gold objects. Wenz' school had organized a fashion show to aid children build their self-confidence as well as enhancing public speaking skills. The theme was on 'folks from various countries', so children in K2 had to dress up in costume that represents certain country, say short phases in the language of the native and briefly explained the meaning of it. 'Konnichiwa'- Hello, 'dōmo arigatō gozaimasu' - Thank you. For a girl who loves wearing pretty dresses all the time, Wenz would certainly seized the opportunity to look good, in-front of her classmates. So we had Wenz dressed up in Yukata as a Japanese girl. As a form of encouragement, everyone who participated had received a certificate of participation. Kawaii.... Yoi ichinichi o....

An excellent initiative by Zhenghua PCF to organize this racial harmony field trip visiting Taoism and Hindu temple to educate children to respect fellow ethnic groups and their religious beliefs in our diverse society. The other thing I like about didi's school is that they always extend invitation to parents and urged parents to take active role in accompanying their child during the excursion. It's through such interaction with Denz' teachers and observation, I noticed Denz has higher self-esteem nowadays and malign well with his classmates.

Wishing my mother-in-law a happy happy birthday and many many thanx to her for taking care of me since the time I was accepted as a member of Tan's family. I'm really grateful to her and if not for her unselfish and ever pouring love to us, there would be a lot more problems, both Irene & I had to face. It's really a blessing having the support of my mother-in-law all these years. My mother-in-law had recently bought a new pajamas for BBC and somehow he could feel that it's something out of the norm. BBC was in a really great mood after wearing his new pajamas like it was something special. He was crawling actively on the mattresses and having fun with Wenz & Denz. Xenz' 1st birthday remembered me how long I had left the blue force. His birth has influenced me to make an important transition in my life and I'm glad to have made the choice for my family as I feel more like a husband and father nowadays. Our ever cheerful and sometime cheeky Bang Bang has turned one and so here's another occasion our family rejoice. Well, our family has always been in celebration for numerous occasions all year round. Hee! Hee!

We have Xenz' birthday celebration within the family, that included godpa and his newly wed wife. The kiddos now have godma and hopefully my best friend will have his own little angel in the near future. On the food menu for this birthday celebration are creamy corn soup prepared by my mother-in-law (The chief chef), missus prepared potato salad & tomato spaghetti and on this rare occasion, I cooked and served my guests with the exclusive spaghetti cabonara.

I was telling missus about how I like about the very first Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and Green Ranger of my era and got to know how much I had been missing out on Power Rangers. Power Rangers series had advanced to RPM series and my kiddos are humming theme song and speaking of characters' names that's totally alien to me. My Gosh! That's what I call generation gap! Lol... Well, the kiddos gets to watch Power Rangers RPM live show @ Bukit Panjang Plaza this June and they went all acrobats thereafter. Kids! Don't try this @ home!

Kids loved ice-creams so much that they can never have enough. Beside just enjoying this yummilicous dessert, mommy feels that Wenz & Denz should also understand how ice-cream was derive from and most importantly, learn how to make them so they could one day treat us with their home-made ice-cream. Hee! Hee!~Maybe a wishful thinking. So here they are making their first ice-cream under the guidance of chef Azhah. Mommy and I had peeped through the curtains from outside the cook room and it's delighting watching our kiddos learning through play. Satisfactions were clearly written on their faces as they munched non-stop on those creamy yummy ice-cream till mommy had to intervene. Happiness isn't it.....

Wenz & Denz woke up really early today to shake me up from my lazy sleep as they could no longer hold their horses for our zoo trip. Mommy had recently participated in a contest by Abbott Grow and had won herself free zoo admission tickets so we were geared up for another visit to zoo. As it's June school holiday, Singapore zoo had jointly organized with Abbott for more wild and fun activities for children. Our kiddos had to use both their brains and brawns taking part in Zoolympix 2011 to gather all six stamps on their booklets. Meaning to say they need to clear six game stations and through these games understand the behaviours of six animals. For the kiddos, it's just play, play & more play.

June school holiday kicks off again so our first family outing this holiday started with 'Under The Baobab Tree' ~ children play. Certainly dad's first time watching children play with the kiddos as I could not join them previously due to work commitment. Well, the play caught my attention and participation which I'm certain my kiddos enjoyed themselves seeing their constant laughters. It's pretty amazing that it only takes 3 casts to keep all of us entertained. Must be those catchy songs, vibrant props and lively story telling that makes play come to live. The day was also well spent for me having lunch at the posh Mandarin Court and the kiddos spending their afternoon at playground inside Paragon. I took my time watching them play and blogging at the same time. Before we head home, the kiddos get to pick a gift from Toy'R'Us.

Wenz' birthday celebration in our family is as grand as Royal Family marriage. Lol... I exaggerated. Anyway, the burger birthday party theme continues with her special invited guests like Zhi Fen, Gillian, Mattew, Run Ying & Cynthia. Biggest credit goes to mommy who had done up the decoration and coordinated the entire event. Errrrr.....daddy helped to blow the balloons, entertained the guest, grace the event and of course housekeeping (Very minor role....Hee! Hee!). All the children had a wonderful time playing games together and feasting. Even though it's Wenz' birthday, our thoughtful guests had also brought gifts for Denz so he would not feel left out. I hope Wenz will be even more sensible now that she's another year older. Happy birthday my princess!

The kiddos had awaited eagerly for today's event ever since they received the tickets from their teachers. It's finally the day for them to be entertained with stage performances, mini train ride & bouncy castle. What's more? There are also free goodie bags, popcorns, Mac Nuggets and candy floss to be given out. The kiddos were lucky to play the bouncy castle and train-ride before the crowd build up (All thanx to mimi's fine planning). We managed to get most of the freebies except popcorns & candy floss cos the queue was ridiculously long. Well, kiddos didn't miss out on those cos I bought them candy floss on our way home and we had plenty of popcorns at home.

The best decision I had made this year is to switch my son to his current school. From a "I-dunno-boy" last year, he has changed and progressed to a more verbal and confident child. He no longer tell me "I-dunno" which left me worrying about his academic progress non-stop. Even though I love iPhone, iPad and all i-gadgets, doesn't mean I love hearing my son telling me I-dunno. It will only make me pondering what has he been doing in school all these while.

Just 2 months of learning in his new school, I can already see his development. It doesn't has to be a good school, the dedication level of the teachers plays a very important role in preschool education and I'm glad he has good and nice teachers. Increased confidence level in him also mean he knows how to talk back to me now. :p

Though it is a routine to take train to his school every morning, he is still happy about it. Best of all, I can be quite certain he has good sense of direction unlike me. He knows exactly every stops right after our house to his school. There was once, he even alerted me to alight when I was too engrossed on my game.

Well done sonny! As long as he enjoys and likes, my every effort of waking up extra early and sending him to school is worth it. :)

Finally got their library cards done for all kiddos yesterday night. Yesssh!!! Cutie pie got his card at 8 months old. I might as well do for all since can save the hassle of making another trip later on. :)

Molly van is visiting Sonny boy's school today. Parents was asked to bring their library card along. This explain why I finally get my butt moving and flip flop to the nearby library.

Ooooh I really love the concept of mobile library aka Molly. The kids must be elated and having fun of it. I dun remember there was such a thing in my time.

Sonny came home with 3 books: 1st is Adventures of Molly, telling the purpose of Molly van in school. 2nd is on trucks. I borrowed another book on trucks for him too after got his card yesterday. 3rd is Catapult Man which have yet to read. I'm glad he enjoyed his day at school with Molly and have a rough understanding of what library is about. Thanks PCF Zhenghua for introducing this interesting concept into the curriculum.

Cutie pie Xenz is 8 months old! He is capable of crawling forward few steps and recline from resting to sitting position. He couldn't sit very well yet but he is progressing slow but steadily.

Look at her! She is recovering and taking to it very well I suppose. We are going KKH for her 1st eye review. Hopefully her 'lazy eye' condition will improve alongside with our diligent patching.

Wenzel had to go for dental surgery to have eight of her decayed milk teeth extracted. I felt tremendously sad that she has to go though this at such young age and couldn't help reprimanding myself for neglecting her dental health in the past. Wenz has been very brave throughout but still it's especially hard for me when I was accompanying her during the anesthesia moment and having to witness her in trauma when she woke up after the surgery. I had tried my very best today to comfort my precious princess in anyway I could just to make it up to her. It is so heartfelt and comforting when Wenz told me that she is happy today despite the pain she had gone through this afternoon. I will personally ensure that I will do what I can to prevent such unfortunate happening to my children. Sorry and I love you loads. 'PS Daddy'

When you have craving for chocolates & candies, remember to head down to RWS 'Resort World Singapore' cos at RWS, there are outlets of Hershey's Chocolate, Garrett Popcorns and Candylicous to satisfy your sweet-tooth. The staffs of Hershey's were giving out peanut butter chocolate so everyone were crowding around including us. Hee! Hee! The sweet memories of Garrett Popcorns still lingers so we bought caramel popcorns again. At Candylicous, we had ice-cream of authentic flavors like Bubblegum, Blue Heaven, Pistachio & Tirumisu. Over at RWS, the kiddos also had great times taking pics with those adorable mascots.

Our Valentine's day dinner was DIY pizza bread and cornflake cookies. Best part was the kiddos were robbed into the dinner preparation. They had great fun spreading their desired ingredients and having the satisfaction customizing their own pizza. The kiddos also waited anxiously to munch those lovely chocolate cornflake cookies. :p

My dad loves to look for places suitable for family outing and his latest found through newspaper is Woodlands Waterfront. I am quite surprised with the integration of park and jetty at a location so near to the causeway. It's another alternative beside East Coast Park and you can expect less crowd too! Kiddos had a good time exploring the huge playground and dad had simply indulged himself at the sight of Johor Strait looking from the jetty. The constant breeze at the jetty made us even more light-hearted.

Singapore is a highly urbanized country so our next generation ain't often expose to animals that live in farm. However, Irene and I had managed to introduce farm animals to the kiddos using the quickest and most direct way by bringing them to 'The Animal Resort' located at Seletar West. Over there, we get to see these farm animals up close and personal through feeding them. The folks had also shared their stories about kampong days where they used to keep livestock. We had high-tea there, eating buns & breads which we brought along and sipped down kopi ordered from the friendly aunty looking after the place.

It's the third day of CNY 2011 when Irene & I decided to bring the kids to a place they have never been to. We first ain't sure if this place still exist after such a long time but we managed to find our way to Haw Par Villa with much ease. We were thrilled (at least I am) to see the villa still stand strong and it's really an excellent place to avoid crowd during this festive period. For the kids, it's like a park for them to admire the statues and learning more of moral values while walking through the section of 'ten chambers of hell'. For the adults, it's just felt like walking down memory lane.

It's the time of the year when spring returns to the land of China. Here in Singapore, it has been raining almost everyday for the past few days. However, the weather didn't dampen my mood. In fact, I'm looking forward to CNY for the first time after I started working, I'm able to take a long leave to celebrate Chinese New Year finally. Having more time and energy these days, I'm able to do more than just spring cleaning. This time round, I even managed to paint the toilet ceiling and walls at home. Another plus point was that I managed to make some minor changes to the geomancy at house for better harmony & fortune. I think my wife would be proud of her husband. Lol....

It's an hour of queuing getting my hands on the tickets for entry after 7pm but it's all worth it for to my Irene & the kiddos happy. Yes! It's our first visit to Universal Studio Singapore so we were all thrilled to see how it look like inside. There was a strong Christmas spirit and we were greeting by friendly staffs. Apart from these, there were lot of artifact and merchandises for us to toy with. Most of all, the fireworks at the end was spectacular.

Wenz has the habit of bossing around in the house. Perhaps she is the eldest child hence she tends to command and poor didi is always the follower. Denz is such a simple boy. When I ask him what does he want for his birthday, he only mentioned that he wants a green cake ('cos green is his fave color).

I din buy him a green cake of course. Instead, I ordered a Disney Cars cake for his celebration in school. He was elated and ate a big piece of it.

His mindset was so simple as he insisted he dun wanna celebrate in school cos his thots was if he celebrated in school, he could not celebrate at home and he wanna have his party at home.

Party never fail to delight the kids. Didi was so happy and so did Wenz.

We ordered a Thomas the Train for home party.

Baby Xenz 1st Developmental Assessment

Baby Xenz went for his 1st Developmental Assessment (DA) together with baby Finn. Didi and I went along as well. Yessssh, all the 4 of us went for DA. This will be my last DA as stated in my health book. Everyone's assessment results is normal except mine. Doctor said my eyes wasn't so good and most likely I will have to put on glasses next time but all these will have to wait for further instruction from the specialist.

Time has becoming very precious and limited when you have more children. The amount of time allocated to each child is just so little which sometimes I feel so guilty for not being able to give them more. As a result, I'll tend to 'spoil' the kids a lil' by acceding to their small lil' request whenever they want. What they want is so simple and easily being fulfilled, it is difficult to say "NO" when you look at their expressions. "How much can I spoil them, right?" :p

With the new addition into the family, bringing them out during the weekend is becoming tougher than before. I'll still ensure I bring them out to the nearby mall or to their fave playground to have fun. They are such an angel by not asking for more as long as they get to go out.

Saturday is quite routine for them if they are going for their art lessons. Both will definitely ask for these what-I-called expensive kiddy rides ($3 for 15mins each) or the bouncy castle. Well, it is these simple pleasures that never fail to delight them. But of course they know the rules at the tip of their fingers that they can only choose ONE and not the luxury of both. :)

Today is our cousin, baby Finn Finn's full month. Jiu ma has especially gel up his hair for the event. Look! He is such a handsome boy. He'll be 'botak' like my didi Xenz tomorrow.

Didi Xenz was so farny. He thot was his day and dun wanna nap all day long. Mummy's best partner at work came to visit her, erm~more of visiting baby Xenz cos today coincide with Hari Raya and juz happen she was around our area visiting too.

Jiu ma was overwhelmed by so many guests who came to visit and send their blessing for the baby. This is no wonder we can see the big grin on her. Thank u to all who came for the event and also for their generosity on the gifts and red packets.
