Princess Wenzel's 7th Birthday

My little gal is seven already! Unlike her brother, Wenz prefers a lot of people celebrating birthday for her and would alway asked us to throw her parties. Can you believe it? She's already thinking of  what to do for her birthday party next year. Papa task was to escort her royal highness to Yeye's house so that Guigui could groom her. Feels like wedding make-up to me. Lolz... Guigui even says wanted to doll up Wenz, the K-Pop style... My Goodness... At Bukit Panjang 'Pizza Hut' outlet, mommy is busy decorating the party corner with banners and balloons. The party theme is "princess" and pinky. Hard work again by mommy from planning, packing goodie bags, designing the outstanding food menu and even tag for table seating. Mommy can really be a professional birthday planner. The hosts can never really enjoyed the food but we were so glad that the littles guests played happily and adults chatted among themselves. Indeed a happy occasion for all to meet-up.

Baby Jordan is now a month old and this special occasion of giving red eggs and blessing was celebrated at 'Tinge of BLUE', the cafe by the pool located at Mt Faber SAFRA. A great day for celebration on the eve of Easter Day. It added more meaning especially when Godpa is a faithful Christian. Baby Jordan was fast asleep when we arrived but I'm certain he will get interactive in time to come. Though Godpa and Godma might not have slept well the past 1 month. The joy of having baby Jordan have superseded these. Just look at the all-smiling-way Godpa. Thanx a lot for the arrangement for the sumptuous vegetarian meal. The cream carrot soup is really tasty too!

Demise of a Close Friend to the Family

Sadness filled me today and I'm certain that it's even more heartbreaking for Ye Ye and Nai Nai. I could literally hear the sobbing of mum on the phone when she broke the bad news to me. It came too sudden  to hear that my parents' best & closest friend had left us due to heart-attack this afternoon. They were supposed to meet up for dinner the very evening but never have the chance again.

Uncle Black had been best of friend with my parents even before the time I was born. My parents once told me they knew Uncle Black and his wife when the couples solemnized on the same day during a mass wedding event. This strong friendship had fostered since then. Uncle Black and his wife had offered their assistance to our family on numerous occasions & during difficult times and my parents to Uncle Black likewise. My dad often told that in life, you don't need to have many friends but a few good trustworthy friends are enough. These are words of wisdom and I have always live by the teaching of my dad.

We will always remember Uncle Black as a sincere friend, a great father of four and for his sense of humour... Farewell...

Hello Baby Jordan!

Godpa is finally a father himself and I bet he will be a great father, very busy one... Ha! Ha! Baby Jordan was born at National University Hospital this morning and this call for a celebration. Very auspicious year to have child as this is the year of the dragon if you believe in Chinese zodiac. For a buddy's view, it's wonderful to see my best pal this blissful. Congratulations pal and welcome to the daddy club! Btw, the dinner you ordered @ the ward looks mouth watering.... Can always call mummy for advise, she's a great consultant!

3 Days 2 Nite with Cutie @ Ward 851

OMGosh! BBC had a fall while playing with cousin Fin Fin and cried incoherently when he tried to stand. Poor BBC was awarded to Raffles Hospital for 2 days. Fortunately, there was no fractured. Mommy and papa had comforted him with hugs and kisses + lolz of carrying. Still painful for him to stand and walk, but able to be discharged. Glad that little BBC remained cheery over the ordeal and hopefully get over the post traumatic experience soonest. Thank you for the many well wishes on Facebook.

Birdie Experience

My memories of Jurong Bird Park was rather vague since my last visit was when I was still a kid in primary school. This visit on the 2nd day of Chinese Year dated 24/01/2012, I had returned as a dad with my three kiddos. I had insisted Gong Gong to tag along even I had to carry him cos some fresh air outdoor would aid speedy recovery and good for the overall mental well-being. Wenz and Denz' interests were mainly in the Kidz Land instead of the birds. Sigh.... However to my surprise, BBC appreciate the sight of birds and had pointed utterly to them. On the contrary, Wenz loves watching Barbie Swan Princess so much on dvd but seems to ignore the presence of a real live swan. As for me, I sure like the serenity and seeing those lovely birds in their nicely setup enclosure. Great to be back again.
